Advisory · IW-ADV-SCIENCE-001
Scientific and Technical Adviser
A defined advisory appointment for an exceptional scientist or technologist whose judgement can materially strengthen Indwel’s architecture and research.
The mandate
Provide independent scientific and technical judgement on artificial cognition, evidence, evaluation, systems architecture or consequential applications. The adviser will challenge assumptions, strengthen proofs and help ensure that Indwel’s claims and systems remain worthy of institutional reliance.
Possible areas of contribution
- Scientific and technical review of architecture and research
- Benchmark, evaluation and proof design
- Criticism of cognitive, epistemic and systems assumptions
- Advice on standards, assurance and consequential domain applications
- Selective participation in papers, reviews or external technical conversations
What we value
We are interested in people with deep subject authority, intellectual independence, clear writing and the ability to move between first principles and practical system consequences. Academic distinction may be relevant; demonstrated judgement is indispensable.
The appointment
The mandate, time commitment, term, compensation, confidentiality, conflicts and any public association will be agreed directly. The appointment is designed to be substantive and bounded—not ceremonial.
The process
We begin with a confidential conversation about the adviser’s work and the areas in which independent judgement could be most valuable. A written mandate follows where there is a strong mutual fit.
